Post Body

I haven't developed a prompt for this yet because I'm a little bit stuck. I'm having some troibke formulating my ideas into something more concrete.

I find dictatorships, dystopias, and totalitarian societies really fascinating. The tension they add to any story can be quite dramatic. However, those sorts of settings tend to be aligned with darker kinks, kinks I do not really have.

Inspiration would probably come from things like Handmaid's Tale, V for Vendetta, Papers, Please.

I'm trying to think up some pairing ideas that might work and attract a partner. I'd appreciate any suggestions.

  1. Survival. A couple hastily get married when the regime comes to power. Maybe they were friends or coworkers before things turned sour and did this for their protection. Maybe the government makes it harder and harder for them to conceal their relationship of convenience.

  2. Resistance. No fans of the regime the characters do what they have to do weaken the party in power in an effort to bring down the regime once and for all. I assume the romance and the passion of the resistance might provide something.

  3. Slice of Life. Characters try to make their way in a difficult setting. It's the least complicated, but pretty thin as a concept.

  4. Illicit Affair. Lovers from forbidden communities meet and defy the taboos of the regime with their relationship.

Please pitch ideas as I am feeling like I can't make this work at the moment.
