(Hi this is my first post, I figured this was a good place to seek some writing advice. Lately I’ve been pretty good at coming up with ideas I’ve just had little time, energy, and motivation to write out an actual prompt. Today I figured I’d get to writing and found it a lot more difficult to flesh out the idea even though I loved it a lot. I know it’s not great, but any advice would be greatly appreciated!)

Everything started off normally this year for open house night, I was going into my third year of teaching and I was as excited as ever! All the kids and parents were coming in and dropping their stuff off for the first day and I got a chance to meet all the new families. The night was pretty standard, a lot of tired looking parents probably having just gotten off of work or just finished running around doing errands before school. A lot of kids who either were super excited about school starting back up, or the ones who looked like the world was ending and they were being shipped back to prison.

Most of the families had come in and I was getting ready to pack up and leave for the night, that is until you came in. You were so... I don’t know how to describe it, I guess eye catching is the only thing I can use. After talking a little bit and hearing you tell me how you planned to be active and volunteer throughout the year I got excited. I didn’t see a ring so that only made my mind wander more.

I’d never had a crush on one of my students parents before but here I was fawning over you anytime I saw you, or at least it felt like I was. At PTO meetings I tried to sit next to you, at bake sales I tried to talk to you... I may have even scheduled a parent teacher conference unnecessarily just to talk to you more.

Not sure if you were interested in me I never made a move, for a while I was hoping you’d make the first move. But I eventually had it, the next time I saw you I plainly stated how I felt and asked you out... and to my surprise you said yes!

Hi I’m Sarah I’m 21 and have had this idea for a while and it’s not completely fleshed out but hopefully we can make it work.

So it’s a pretty simple concept, I’d be a younger teacher and you’d be a parent, probably older, who I develop a crush on and we end up maybe hooking up or a relationship could develop naturally. I’d love to hear your ideas about this too if you have any. We can tweak it any way you’d like, I just wanted to get something out there to work off of that.

I love detail so I’m hoping we can make this at least a few paragraphs per response and I can go higher too.
