Hi DPP_Workshop. I've been posting on DPP for almost 2 years now and I'd like to think of myself as a competent poster. However, unless I'm writing fairly generic F4A prompts I've found I usually have an abysmally low response rate. Now part of this is almost certainly because the kinks I'm looking for are pretty niche and because I like very long-term RPs, but I was wondering if there was anything I could improve about my prompts to improve my hit rate.

In this post I've included a prompt which I really like but which, as of yet, has no responses despite about a dozen reposts. What do people think I could improve about it?

America, Land of the Free.

Or at least that's what I was told.

When I got onto the plane over to the US of A I was already dreaming big. After a few months liaising with you, an allegedly prominent talent agent, I scraped up enough money to afford a flight and began my journey to stardom. Looking out the plane window I imagined seeing my name up in lights, being interviewed on chat shows, signing autographs and living the life of a celebrity. Of course I would have to work hard to get there, but I believed in my talents and my potential.

When I stepped off the plane things began to go downhill.

First my baggage magically disappeared from the baggage carousel. All my clothes, books and other belongings were gone without a trace, and the airport staff were less than helpful in trying to locate them. Giving up on getting them back I headed out, planning on buying new things over the next couple of days. As I walked towards the hotel through the pouring rain I hit my next hurdle. From out of a dark alleyway leapt a man with a knife, demanding all my money and other valuables. Not trusting myself to outrun them I reluctantly agreed, handing over the last of my worldly belongings apart from the clothes on my back. Now they'd be no chance of me getting a room! Completely dejected, the sheen of my American adventure already turning to rust, I knew I had no other choice. Feet wet and shoulder slumped, I walked the two hour long journey towards the only other place I knew in this country, the office of my new agent.

Rapping my knuckles on the door I stand in the lashing rain and wait, shivering in the cold. When the door opens I see your confused face, expression shifting as you slowly begin to recognise who I am.

'Get yourself inside!' you say, standing aside and putting your hand on my sodden upper arm as I step past you, water dripping onto the floor from my clothes, 'What's happened?'

Feeling sorry for myself I explain my journey over here. Shaking your head you pat me on the shoulder and sigh, empathising with my situation.

'What a sorry state of affairs,' you say, 'Well, first thing's first, we need to get you into some dry clothes. One of my old clients left her suitcase in the back.'

I look up in shock. Her suitcase.

But little do I know that these series of unfortunate events will lead to a very productive relationship...

Hi everyone, thanks for reading my post! I've left things pretty open with this one but the specifics are that I will play an aspiring performer (perhaps an actor or a musician) and you will play a talent agent I've been in contact with. When I arrive, not a penny to my name, you will innocently offer me a temporary set of clothes from one of your former female clients. However seeing me in these clothes will slowly begin our journey where you see my true talents don't lie in being a male performer, but a female one.

I have no particular preference for the background of my character, although I do have a couple of ideas. Perhaps I could be:

• An Eastern European actor who you imagined being the next Arnold Schwarzenegger or Dolph Lundgren (yes, I know neither are Eastern European, but give me a bit of creative leeway!), a muscly actor with a strong accent and mean attitude. However, when you realise that I'm actually pretty small and not very strong, you start to wonder whether I'd be a better Bond girl than a Bond villain.

• A black guy interested in starting a career as a R&B or soul singer, but whose voice and looks are more Shirley Bassey than Stevie Wonder.

• A 'chavvy' Brit looking to break into the American rap scene, but whose thick lips and arse is more suited towards wrapping around other things.

• An Asian martial artist who you think could be the next Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee, but who ends up putting their flexibility to other uses.

• Or someone else entirely! I'm up for discussing which character we think would fit this RP best, and I would love to hear your ideas!

I also have no particular preference for the setting, either relating to the location or period. Maybe we could do an RP in Detroit in the 1960s with an aspiring Mo-Town singers, or maybe in the 1980s with an action movie hopeful, or maybe something in a medieval tavern or Wild West saloon. Or we could set it in a futuristic sci-fi setting. There are tonnes of possibilities!

I would like this to be a long-term RP set across a couple of scene as I gradually transform from a fresh male perform into a female star, with our relationship slowly growing from being just professional to being something more. We can discuss in PMs what scenes we'd like to play out. I'd like to gradually built towards the sexual elements of the RP, with lots of non-sexual (or semi-sexual) character and relationship building scenes.

In a partner I'm looking for someone who is a comfortable writer who can provide around 3 paragraphs in each response and who likes explaining their character's thoughts, feelings, emotions and motivations in good detail.

My main kinks are romance, feminisation, incest, cumplay/bukkake/gokkun, D/s (with me as the s), outfits and lingerie, build-up, free use, taking orders, name calling and group sex. My limits are u18s, excessive pain, non-con and skat/watersports. Not all these kinks need to be included in the RP, but this should give you a good overview of my likes and dislikes.

I try to respond at least once per day or two, although sometimes real life will get in the way. I write in the first person present, and generally try to write detail, liking around 3 paragraphs per response (although of course that fluctuates). In your response, I'd like you to include a little bit about which character/setting you would prefer, which character you would like to play, and your kinks/limits. The more detail you can include the better, the first message is super important to me, and short or detail-lacking messages are a bit of a turn-off for me. I usually leave prompts up a little while before replying, so don't feel the need to rush your response. I'll try and reply to everyone, but one line messages probably won't get a response.
