The year is 2177. It has been more than 150 years since the plague came that wiped out the majority of the human race. With only a population of about 500,000, humanity is at the front door to extinction. It came only just suddenly overnight. People woke up one day heavily ill. It was the feared super bug every scientist in the news talked about but no one heeded their warnings. Not even the most advanced technological medicine at the time was able to treat it. Unfortunately instead of utilizing the most brilliant minds in the world to scramble a way to combat the new disease, nations end up pointing fingers at each other with the accusation of creating it in the first place as a declaration of war. Misunderstandings were made and soon along with the plague absolute World War happened. Not a single day went by when there would be blazing fire or corpses on the ground. No one was safe. An average day was either running from explosions or waiting for the plague to take their life. This bloody destruction continued for 100 years when the survivors finally had enough and declared an end to the war. Ironically enough survival of the fittest took place where those who gained immunity to the plague and survived the war became super humans both physically and mentally. Utilizing the advanced technology leftover from the war, survivors were able to eradicate the disease and re-colonize on a small corner of the planet that’s still fertile. It became a technological nigh-utopia that citizens from pre-Hundred year war dreamed of. Unfortunately creating life from scratch is still out of their grasp. In order to revive the human race the Rescue Population (RESPOP) program was initiated. For one week everyone in the colony who is fertile are required to participate in having sex to breed with one another. Men and women would be randomly paired in a room to carry out the act. Lights would be dimmed to keep identities secret from each other so that there would be no emotional attachments in the citizens’ daily lives after the week. Cameras would monitor the room to make sure no harm would come to each of the participants. Once fertilization has been confirmed the fetus would be transferred into an artificial womb for the child to finish developing and sent to live in the new world. However the female has the option of wishing to allow the development to finish in her own womb if she desired.

I was thinking we can do a role play where we are a pair of the participants. This can be either a onetime role play or we can work on making this long-term where the participants fell for each other.
