My dog locked my housemate out of the house so she could watch Adventure Time alone.
Post Body

Believe what you want about this post, I know what I saw I just wanted to share because if I didn't see it I wouldn't have believed it myself.

So for the past day and a half I've witnessed my dog lock the door handle when my houseguest guest goes outside and shuts the door and I've also been in the receiving end of said lockouts at least once (luckily I have my keys on me most of the time). I have been assuming she's been doing so by accident, just jumping at the door and hitting the switch out of excitement when we leave or something.

Then tonight happened.

I work nights at a hospital and it's starting to get pretty cold outside where I live right now. Tonight I was not even an hour into my shift when I got the call that my guest forgot to bring the keys I gave her with her when she stepped out for a couple minutes to get something outside. The dog had once again locked the door on her.

When I got home about 30-40mins later and opened the door I saw the scene caught in the pictures on this post. My dog was laying on the bed she knows she shouldn't be on, with a shoe she clearly was ready to eat later, using the heated blanket and watching tv that was left on by the houseguest.

Mind you I didn't do any scolding until after I took the picture, that is the look of a dog caught red handed doing human things, half of which she knows she's not supposed to.

There's a reason she has that look, she knows what she did.

Clever girl.
