Thoughts on Warlock/Fighter Build
Post Body

Was looking for thoughts on a level 16 build. 5 Warlock 11 Fighter.

Fighter for starting class, for con saving through and proficiencies. Allow one uncommon magic item, headband of intellect for 19 int. For the Level 1 feat I am going with Great weapons Master.

For fighter I am going with Eldritch Knight. For warlock I am going with Fiend/Pact of the Blade.

Standard Array Stat breakdown (Race: Human Variant)

Str: 15 1 = 16

Dex: 8

Con: 14

Int: 10 (19 with headband)

Wis: 12

Cha: 13 1= 14

ASI/Feats:

Level 4: Warcaster

Level 6: 2 Strength.

Level 11: 2 Strength (20 Str)

Level 15: 2 Charisma (16 Cha)

Eldritch Knight Spells: 4 level 1 slots, 3 level 2 slots.

Cantrips: Firebolt, Prestidigitation, booming blade

Level 1: Shield, Magic Missile, Absorb Elements, Protection from good and evil, Feather fall.

Level 2: Darkness, Misty Step, Arcane Lock.

Warlock Spells and Invocations : 2 Level 3 slots.

Invocations: Devil's Sight, Agonizing Blast or Improved pact weapon, Eldritch Smite.

Cantrips: Eldritch Blast, Minor Illusion, Toll the Dead.

Level 1: Armor of Agathys, Hex, Command, Unseen Servant.

Level 2: None.

Level 3: Fireball, Fly.

Playstyle

The point of the build is to be a DPS/Tank.

Tanking: Using Spells like Shield, Absorb Elements to mitigate damage. Alongside Second wind to regain health. Armor of Agathy's to get some temp HP is needed. Almost went with Warlock Celestial for the extra healing. Its no much but still a nice use of bonus action. Though I went with Fiend instead for temp HP on every kill. (Thoughts on which is better?)

DPS: Pretty straight forward. Greatsword is the place to be. Great weapons master eldritch smite is the bread and butter. Being able to use the eldritch knight slots for it is very useful. Knock things prone for free advantage. Not to mention all the extra damage.

Darkness blade is always a thing to get advantage of attacks. Eldritch Blast Hex combine with War Magic can make for some nice shenanigans. Getting 4 attacks off in one turn with hex damage can be nice. Not to mention add up to some good damage. Hex and darkness combined with War caster makes it hard to break your concentration. Level 16 you have three weapon attacks to.

Dex is low, but with high Charisma and Int you can rely on your cantrips hex for damage at range. You can also use misty step to get close quickly. Definitely out putting more damage close up. Still your cantrips provide reliable ranged options.

Would like some feed back on the class. Even if there are other combo's I can pull off that are not listed here. I am sure this is not the first time or last time someone has done a build like this. Though I would appreciate some feedback.
