My uncle raises Beef cattle, he does not butcher it himself but like many other cattle farmers send the cattle live to a butcher shop where they are cut, packed and frozen.
My uncle kept half of the meat from one of the steers this year and is very unhappy with the quality and taste of the meat and he insists this is not a from a steer he raised, thinking that the butcher shop has made a mistake and switched the meat out with another customers animal. (Very possible).
My uncles knows what customer got the other half of this steer and is wondering if he can check his meat/ or blood from the meat/ against the meat/blood from the other customers meat and make sure they are both in fact from the same animal.
If there is any other way to find this out let me know please! Also if this Reddit isnβt the one to post this question on please point me in the direction of where I should ask.
Thanks!
