Hi all! We have a local dating ("dating") subreddit in the form of /r/BaltimoreAndDCr4r/. They are unspeakably horny, and we will speak of them no further. So we made r/novaromance. This did not work. As a result, we have broadened our horizons and created r/DMVromance. Why? Because it casts a broader net, and we need a broader net. If you want a dating subreddit for Southern Virginia then go talk to a North Carolina sub or something, but that was clearly never going to be what we were about.

As for what posts we're looking for, you ever been on r/r4r? Do that. Leave a tag with your gender (nonbinary people are welcome), the gender(s) you're looking for, where you live (roughly, no sharing your address obviously), and a clever tagline summarizing what/who you want. Then write a nice little intro for yourself, and let the magic happen.
