Do I need to stop taking kratom before smoking changa?

Ayahuasca requires that you stop taking kratom for 2 weeks before just to avoid MAOI interactions. Do I need to do the same before smoking a changa blend made with shredded vines and caapi leaves? I have a hard time vaporizing DMT by itself and would like to try it this way but am in a lot of pain right now and don’t want to go without the kratom for so long.
