Can’t break through on DMT

Any tips on how to break through? I have tried a few times and feel almost a voice a few years ago sayin I am not ready. Recently I tried and just hit a block that didn’t seem to let me through. The experience is still positive with great insights into death and a higher intelligence but just wondering if other people have similar experiences and what do you do to overcome? Or not overcome and just accept?
