Hello there folks,

I’ve had a gift planned for a buddy for a few months now. He’s been talking about wanting to play for a while, so I picked up the books to learn the game, booked a trip home, and got a guy to sub in and DM for us on his birthday night. This all fell through when a meme was sent in a group chat shortly after that spiralled into an online game being planned with the boys so I stopped researching and worked on a new gift.. HOWEVER that game fell through and now im a week out from said birthday and the original DM has to work back shift that night. So im looking to step up and dm a one off with little to no knowledge of the game

TL/DR: need advice on dming for the first time. Or suggested online resources for a specific one shot that you’ve enjoyed. And maybe a few must-learns for a dm newby
