Moblin my goblin of hob and gang, begone.
I have redeveloped GlasStaffs character to be less of a glass cannon and more of a necromancer. There's plot involved as to why, but right now it doesn't matter.
What matters is my PCs have locked onto this subquest instead of everything else I have presented to them. I intended for the redbrands to be there for a while, causing trouble in the town. Now with the help of a few undead, and the bandit gang, New and Improved GlasStaff is running all sorts of things in opposition to Halia, and I'm not sure how to run the team of PCs walking in, 2 shifted into flys, and 3 with 'redbrand' capes, bringing in one as a "prisoner".the one had instigated fights with some of the other redbrands.
Unknown by the PCs, GlasStaff has already seen each of the PCs and would know on sight that they were frauds. They have met his common alias where they announced themselves enemy's of the redbrands.
I don't want to kill them or get hung up here, but I want to make an encounter challenging enough that they can't instantly steamroll thru. They have already almost defeated Cryovain. 6 Lvl 4 PCs, raising stats in the area with a lot of homebrew.
