So I haven't ran a campaign in a year or two and I really miss it. A lot of my close friends have always wanted to play it but never really have. And knowing them (one openly admitting) that they will want to run mayhem and kill as many people as possible. Generally my campaigns always tended to swing for the fences with more evil narratives and choices so I'm not necessarily opposed to this. But, obviously I also want to run a proper campaign and so I'm hoping for some advice on how you guys would approach guiding players with this kind of idea about dnd towards their objectives without putting a foot down and making them feel less inclined to try again in future. I'm not too worried they're not pig headed people but at the end of the day I'd like to know any advice or tips you guys have so I can give them the best possible introduction to dnd!
