How to balance final boss encounter for party that is almost out of spell slots?

Hey folks,

Currently wrapping up a campaign set in Wildemount. Decided to use the Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan as the final temple, within which I placed a macguffin they need to destroy before the evil necromancer could find it. After the current encounter, they are about to find the macguffin, so I planned on having the necromancer and her allies run into them as they are trying to escape from the temple (which, naturally, is beginning to collapse around them). The party is 5 7th level characters - a monk, life domain cleric, ranger/tempest cleric, evocation wizard, and arcane trickster rogue.

The problem is that they are pretty well spent. They are running very low on spell slots and their health is probably around 1/2-3/4 on average. The life domain cleric has a couple big heals left but not much else.

Thoughts on how I could run this climactic finish to the campaign or adjust the boss difficulty? The players and I are fine if PC deaths happen, but I'd like the finish to be rewarding if possible.
