Going to be running DnD all weekend for a summer camp - good resources/print-outs for them?
Post Body

I'm a volunteer at a camp for trans and gender non-conforming youth and last year as a volunteer I had an activity block where I DMed 4 kids for a few hours. It ended up being pretty popular and this year I've basically been assigned to be running DnD all weekend (I am not at all opposed to this, I hate outdoorsy stuff!) and me and my partner (a much more experienced player than me by like years) are already working on getting stuff together.

My current plan is to run a one-or-two shot at level 6. My partner is in the process of pumping out a large variety of premade characters (no multiclass or feats to keep things simpler) and my plan is to have anyone who has not played before just slap a name, personality, and appearance on there and then get to playing. I'm going to have an hour block at the beginning of the first day for anyone who has played before to come make their own character (and to teach new kids how to play!)

That said - while we still have a while, the camp is over Labor Day weekend - last year I definitely did things last minute and while everyone had fun (since I'm funny and good at hanging with these kids), I definitely realized I'm not a good a DM as I thought! My other games are with friends and so half the time is just us bullshitting, less playing, which is fine, but I really want to make this experience streamlined and fun.

My idea at the moment is print out the SRD player rules and have plastic binders with the SRD rules in them along with some scratch paper and a place for whichever character sheet they pick (our camp has a budget and I can just ask for supplies to be bought no problem). I'm also going to order a bunch of cheap plastic dice sets so each kid can have their own to take home.

What I'm looking for is:

  • Other or maybe better rule sheets to print out. Something that's easy to read and glance at for reference with just the basics on it. The age group will probably be 12-18 so it doesn't need to be dumbed down, just not overwhelming.
  • Additional rules or cheat sheets? I'm planning on having all characters with spells to have an already-set spell list (courtesy of my partner) and a description of the spells.
  • A good, printable character sheet! I've seen a lot of sheets around and a lot of them are really great for electronic access like the Google Drive one, but I need to able to print this stuff out and have it easy to read when printed and not too many pages, like 3 max?
  • Something to run! I could make my own thing but that's a lot of effort and I tend to get way into worldbuilding and I'm finding that, well, my only experience to DnD beforehand was listening to The Adventure Zone, which I'm very quickly coming to realize that while my playgroups have a good time, it's really not the traditional way to play DnD, and I want to use this opportunity as a way to also learn more "traditional" DnD playthrough to hone my skills. I've never used pre-made modules before though so I have no idea where to look!
  • Anything else I'm not thinking of. I play online, so I'm planning on getting a thing to roll dice in (so we don't have to deal with picking dice off the floor every 5 minutes) and a DM screen. I'm not planning on bringing any books though if I don't have to, because the books are not mine and I really don't want to ruin a 40 dollar book on a camping trip.

And I guess any other advice? Last year I was really happy at how "into" it the kids got, with the youngest (I think he was 11?) immediately throwing on a character voice (A surly, Scottish dwarf!) so I know I won't have to probably deal with the "awkwardness" that often happens when people roleplay for the first time.
