One player wanted a goose, gave them a goose, now a friend wants to play the goose, how do I make the goose more badass, or at least useful?

So long story short my players fought a bunch of geese and managed to tame one because the treehuging nature claric wanted one as a pet. Out of game we have a friend who likes to watch us play, soon as the cleric got the goose she jokingly voiced it's inner thoughts for fun. Now she wants to play the goose, which I totally support because I saw this coming. I'm just stuck on how to make the goose useful, I've tossed around the idea of a battle goose or a goose with hidden magic abilities. Anyone have any thoughts on how I should go about this?
