First time DM running LMoP for a table of first time players. Since very early on, the rogue has used his forgery ability to create fake, inaccurate maps of the area. At basically every location and interaction, he hides a fake map. It's always been something of a bit, but I'd like to pay it off.
Any ideas on how to do this? In my mind, any serious parties would already have rough maps of the area, even if they don't have all the points of interest. So I don't really want to give him a major benefit but I also don't want to just ignore it.
