So out of curiosity DMs: how many of you announce your skill check DC prior to a roll? I definitelyninderstand the idea if a hidden skill check for something that is not yet discovered, or for contested checks; eg, a persuasion/deception vs insight, or stealth vs perception. But as far as a skill check for a locked chest or a set trap, do you announce your difficulty prior to the rolls? I've seen VODs of both, and curious what you make of them
