NUMARK SCRATCH MIXER Crossfader Issue.

saw a post regarding a similar issue with this mixer. I recalibrated the fader but eventually it loses calibration and it stops cutting, and i have to turn off and on the mixer, open and recalibrate, or sometimes it just comes back on its own. does this mean i need a new crossfader ?
