I've been DJing with Virtual DJ Home for about a year now, and I've gotten to the point where I'm comfortable with the general theory, fading, using the EQ/filters/effects, and moving between compatible songs. The problem is that I can't really reach the next level without a controller, primarily because I don't have a good way to directly control the turntables, but also because I don't have a sound card capable of letting me monitor tracks.
I've been looking to get started professionally for a while now, and haven't because I couldn't afford to get a setup. I recently got a job that pays decently well and I should be able to get a setup within the next month or so. After countless hours of research I've narrowed my choices for a controller down to the NS7, NS6, and the American Audio VMS4.
Opinions?
Thanks!
