Just picked up a Avata and figured I better do the training videos. But I cannot charge the controller with my typical USB-C adapters. They all are 100W or .
Also, during the training, my Mode button will beep as expected, but the training software doesn't recognize the actual button press (even though I feel and the audio beep are as expected). So I can't continue the controller training till it recognizes the Mode button press.
Chatted with DJI and figured out the controller can only be charged with a 5V 1-2W charger. Why in the world is one not included like the flight battery charger? I will go buy a 5V charger and "maybe" that will fix the Mode button issue.
Secondly, if my controller is defective. I have to send back the entire kit (drone, headset, controller and all accessories) just to replace the controller? Seems like a complete waste of DJI's resources when the headset and drone all work perfectly.
Has anyone else run into this issue and is there a way to just replace the controller if it is defective?
