Mixing for specific coils/resistances

When I'm using my cloud-chasing build (.12 ohms, dual parallels) I notice that most of my ADV mixes taste like complete shit. I wanted to show off for a friend on skype, so I put in a flavour that tastes like ass on my normal builds (1.5 kayfun on an MVP or .25 dual ribbon wire on a dripper).

So, I'm noticing that some of my flavours taste better on one than the other. Does anybody have any experience with mixing differently for different builds?

The juice in question is a spiked eggnog - not sweet enough on my higher-resistance builds, but has a nice eggnogy cakey flavour on my really low builds.
