I've been in this house for 6 and a half years now and the bathroom is a wetroom with walk in shower. It's never been easy to clean the floor. I think it is called altro flooring and it is pale blue and has little grooves in it. I always thought maybe it was just people walking in with their shoes on (me included) that caused parts of it to be dirty or look dirty but I've used bleach and hot water, I've also used various floor cleaners and a wooden brush to brush the whole floor and it never gets completely clean.
I am waiting to get the extractor fan fixed and have had issues of mold in there, sometimes on the actual floor around the shower area and on the walls under the sink, this is easily removed by a spray, it also appears on the grout and that is easily removed and that happens with me leaving the window open from early morning till late at night to make sure plenty of air is getting in.
Is there anything I can do or use to really get into those grooves? I was thinking of a nail brush and just getting on my hands and knees and scrubbing as best I can and maybe use baking soda and what should I do after my daily shower? Should the entire floor be washed every single day? If so how would I go about drying the whole floor every day? I only used to use an old towel and more recently a cloth mop but it's soaking wet once I use it.
Is there anything I should be doing that I'm not doing to keep on top of it all? It's not that big maybe 7 foot by 7 foot so not that much space but I don't know what else I can do. Thanks!
