Upstairs Bathroom Leak
Post Body

I was running the electric shower over bath for five minutes and suddenly water was coming through the ceiling in the kitchen below. I took the side of the bath off to discover this monstrosity.

The pipe is disconnected at the joint in the middle. This may be from when I was taking the side of the bath off, but I figure it must have been pretty loose to do that either way.

Can someone recommend an alterative to this white PVC piping and connectors? They seem to be the bane of my life and I've had problems with them at a different house. Ideally something flexible that can connect to the bathtub water trap and the downpipe on the right?
