Ground around house advice?

Post Body
Following a building survey for a property that i'm planning on purchasing. It has advised that the "ground levels around the property are too high in some areas". (With regards to potentially leading to bridging of the damp proof course).
Does anyone know what the fix is for this? Is it a case of removing some of the ground so its at a lower level?
