Brick acid to clean bricks… feel like I’ve wasted a full day!

Post Body

We’ve had the house rendered and I had cemented the lintels so wanted to clean it all up. Also lots of salt coming out of the bricks in places and I wanted it all to look brand new.

I used this stuff…

Watered the walls first, painted it on and scrubbed with a wire brush and soft brush.

Left for 20 minutes as stated and to be honest, it’s made a slight difference but not the full days worth!

Have I done anything wrong or can anybody advise a better product?

I’m looking to clean up the bricks, even the black dirty bricks underneath the sill don’t look great.

Also can anybody recommend anything to remove paint? I thought this stuff would but it hasn’t touched it!

Thanks
