I need advice on installing pendant lights

This is the best pics I can get just now of what I have and what I want to replace them with. I did have an electrician at my house last year for other work getting done and he unscrewed this white plastic one and said it was a few wires and easy enough for me to do on my own. I then bought these black pendant lights and on the new one I have blue,black and green and yellow so is it just a case of matching them up?

Also I need to screw this onto the ceiling. Is there a way of doing this where I can get it dead centre? I know I need to drill and screw the silver part first but I don't know the best way to do this?
