How to fix stained/ damaged floor?

An open bottle of nail polish remover was knocked over, and spilled on paper leaflet that was left on the floor, and not noticed for about a day.
Any advice on removing the stain? It's a rental, so I can't do anything drastic like ripping up the flooring.
