Want to mount a TV and Soundbar combo on a party wall. How to make sure I don't piss off the neighbours?
Post Body

I live in a terraced house.

Currently my TV is sitting on a unit in the corner of the room, but I'm going to get some fitted units and then wall mount my TV on a swivel bracket with a soundbar mounted to the same bracket underneath.

I don't want to piss off my neighbours with my new set up with sound transfering through the wall.

Has anyone got any thoughts on how to fix this?

I'm thinking some of these

With a suspended false back between the cupboard under and the shelves above, that the TV mount then attached to. This will prevent as much noise transfer as possible and I could even flexible caulk around the gaps to give it a real attached feel?
