Water ingress from flat above

Hey there! I live in a flat (shared ownership) and today I noticed some white fur growing down the corner of one wall. Never noticed it before so I’m assuming it’s recent(ish). Looks like some water staining above. Just curious to what would be the recommended recourse here once we solved the water coming in issue. My guy is to rip out and replace any plasterboard in that area but maybe that’s overkill?
