Ryobi Battery Question

Post Body

This is probably going to sound like a real basic question. But I’d rather ask and know than not ask and always be worried!

I inherited my ex’s tool collection which is Ryobi. Everything is part of the “one plus” range and I’ve been rather gleefully adding to it as I do more bits around the house.

However I’m always worried about putting the wrong battery in the wrong tool.

Will it break the lawnmower if I put a small battery in it for example? Or if I put a large battery in the small drill?

Like, what’s the damage I’m likely to do here? Because it never seems obvious which battery should go in which tool and if there’s likely to be repercussions for getting it wrong.
