Shaker style MDF door thickness question
Post Body
Okay,
So I think I have messed up a bit.
I have bought 18mm MDF (pre cut) for the doors, and I planned on buying 4mm MDF for the moulding to stick and screw on top.
I have no realised I should have gone 12 and 12.
Will 18mm doors with 4mm moulding look ok? Or do I need 6mm moulding?
9mm moulding feels too thick. A total thickness of 27mm seems crazy to me, but 24mm over 22mm might be ok?
Sorry for the ramble, I hope you understand what I am trying to ask.
