I am starting to build home made DIY stuff my first project is a box. I am looking at options for a cutting tool with some level of multi-functionality then I stumble upon the Dremel.
Is this the best tool for my use case purpose. - thin MDF boards at first but later I will be digging into plywood/wood furniture. I don't think Dremel will cut wood or plywood. But is it going to work with 3.5 to 5 mm MDF boards?
I'm a beginner and I feel little out of my depth when looking at articles about these.
Any and all recommendations are greatly appreciated.
Edit/update: what I've learned today is. Don't bother with Dremel unless finish and detailing is an important part of the project (I was going to use Dremel al my main cutting tool looks like I dodged a bullet there) I am buying a circular saw. A few tutorials later this seems the best thing for me. Even though my current project is a small one like a 300x240x100 box as I scale up my level and materials a circular saw is best. Based on comments it looks like I am getting a new blade, safety gear and to be mindful of the dust (don't even attempt indoor cutting in a room you don't wanna have dust in. Thanks everyone
