What materials are good for for sealing a mold that don't inhibit curing?
Post Body

So I've just discovered that a 3D printed mold has a few leaks when testing with water.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with what to use to seal seams and holes in a mold? Ideally the sealant will be easily removable so I can open the mold again. And it's important that it doesn't inhibit curing.

I have petroleum jelly, but I don't think it will withstand the pressure/weight of the silicone bearing down on it. I also have a general purpose silicone sealant in a tube, but I'm guessing that will definitely inhibit curing and be difficult to remove.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: I've attached some photos. In the first photo, I'd really like to cover this hole in the end of the mold. Don't ask me why I made it like that lol. And the second photo, I need to perfectly seal the "lid" that I've made to close over the suction cup at the base. So something I could just use to fill around the edges, but also remove again at the end would be great.
