Hello there! I'm looking into making my very first audio cable, to replace the (now broken) 3.5mm female to male cable that came with my Superlux HD668B. Now, I know it's not the highest quality pair of headphones, but they're the ones I can afford to get locally (importing stuff is a pain in the ass here). For the same reason, I can't afford to buy expensive cables and connectors and import them here, and so far there's not much I found for HiFi audio cable components, and we can all agree using a standard 3 channel cable will be not sufficient (to say the least). What alternatives do I have to using that cable? I heard repurposing an ethernet cable is a good idea, but I wanted to know your thoughts. As for the connectors, both the male and female 3.5mm jacks, is there any way I can make them more conductive, less noisy, and sound better overall?
Thank you very much for your time and I hope to learn a lot from you
