I found this hammock for sale on Etsy for $1,200. I think that price is a but outrageous so Im going to try to do this myself. The only detail I know about sizing is the overall length of the hammock is 8ft. After counting the number of smaller units in the middle there are 95 total smaller smaller pieces of wood used so that means those are likely 1x1 (96 inches=8ft). Im not sure about the size on the FIRST piece of wood. Do you guys think that is a 2x2 or 3x3? I am suspecting it is a 2x2 which would mean the hole is likely 1/4 inch and the ropes are 3/8"? Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated!
