Handing a large wreath off natural stacked stone
Post Body

The front of my house is covered in a natural stacked slate stone facade (http://www.canadianstone.ca/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/Natural-Stone-Installation-Guide_10-19-15_web.pdf) which I am having some difficulties with. I need to hang a large hand made wreath (3.5-4 foot in diameter, aprox 35-45 lbs) in front of the window that has this stacked stone around it and do not wish to leave any permanent screws or holes in the siding once the wreath comes down at the end of the season. I have purchased some Adjustable Brick clips (https://www.homehardware.ca/en/rec/index.htm/Indoor-Living/Seasonal/Christmas/Lighting/Lights-Clips-Holders/6-Pack-Outdoor-Adjustable-Brick-Light-Clips/_/N-2pqfZ67l/Ne-67n/No-24/Ntk-All_EN/R-I5610313?Ntt=brick&Num=0) which are intended more for an even brick wall then the random spacing and surface levels. Also a thin length of aircraft cable has been strung across 6 of these clips in an effort to spread the weight across all 6 clips instead of just one or two.

My problem is that due to the erratic level of spacing and the fact the stone surfaces are not flat the clips are not holding and pull loose with very little weight applied. I have been searching for an alternative product in order to attach to the facade of my house but have not been successful.

Any assistance with finding an alternative solution would be greatly appreciated.
