Drilling the head off a stripped screw
Post Body

Hi, so I have a Nintendo 2DS with extremely stripped screws on the back cover. All other methods, rubber band etc have failed and from what I have read drilling the head off the screw is the only option. I have some questions.

  1. What does that actually mean? How do I know when the head is off. When the head is off with the rest of the screw follow?

  2. Is there are specific drill bit I need to use? The screw is very small so I'm guessing quite a narrow one.

Thanks.
