Looking into installing an underfloor heating system in a house with no heating whatsoever. I figure that underfloor would be easier for a new install than radiators and may fit in better with the already decorated (to a degree) house.
To the point: 1 - Does underfloor heating require concrete under-flooring? I know most underfloor heating is installed in like a layer of plaster/concrete - but can this be installed on wooden floorboards. 2 - Can real wood flooring be installed over underfloor heating or is it restricted to tiling and carpets?
thanks!
