Garage floor drain clogged with rust??

Post Body

I recently found that the floor drain in my garage was clogged used drano and a 25' snake which helped, but didn't seem to get it completely clear. The water that was coming up though was rust colored with what looked like flakes or something. Should I be worried? As far as I know, this drain only serves the hot water heater pressure release and AC condensation drain. I do woodworking in this garage, but don't think that was saedi, especially because the hot water and HVAC are in a closed closet and I've never found much sawdust in there.

Comments

i think rust colored water and flakes in your garage drain suggest pipe corrosion or rust, so consider a thorough cleaning and i think you should consult your plumber about it
