I created a plywood laundry bin that slides under a piece of furniture. I love it... functionally.
To help with airflow I even put in some fans that will run periodically to cycle air.
I would love to get to the point where I can feel comfortable putting laundry that is a bit damp inside of this bin. Right now its just plywood with a wood veneer and I would love to find some sort of treatment I can put on the wood to make it so that it will resist mold and mildew and ideally be somewhat waterproof/resistant.
Its shape is irregular so it would be pretty difficult to properly line it with something.
I dont have a huge workshop setup so preference would be for things I can spray or sloppily brush on the interior of the bin while outside. It doesn't need to look great as it will not be seen except by me. If I need to get special respiration protection further than my KN95s so be it but it will be applied to the walls of the wood as well.
