I have a 1/4" plywood storage container I created that is very sturdy/reinforced. On one of its faces I would love to attach hardware that I can hang things like a ruler/clamps from. Think the cork board at your average hobbyist woodshop. The problem it must go into 1/4" plywood and there is no space for it to go any deeper than 1/4" unless its going through the "end grain" of a few of the supporting pieces of plywood.
Are there screws or screws/hardware that might work well for this purpose? Maybe something that distributes the force of 2 small screws into one knob I can hang something from? Maybe thick screws that only actually have screw for 1/4" of their length (and therefore cant go deeper than 1/4th inch)
Maybe I can wood glue some hardware?
Open to ideas.
The dark blue face is the one that I am hanging things on. All plywood pictured is 1/4" and the light blue are the "end grain" of plywood used for finger joints. This is an image from a much smaller model. The actual one is much taller.
