Concrete board is awesome?

The noise from the first floor has been a bit much here lately. We recently redid the bathroom floor with tile and cement board underlay and it is really solid and made me think.
Is there a really bad reason why I shouldn’t do it all the way through the first floor when I replace the carpet? I can just imagine how happy I’d be with no more squeaks but that’s a lot of weight, no?
