Water leak in gas fireplace

Post Body

Today I noticed an electrical buzzing sound coming from my propane fireplace that I do not really use.

I turned off the breaker and the buzzing stopped.

Then I heard some water dripping (it was raining). I opened up the fireplace and as you can see in the picture, there is water damage. It looks like one of the connectors has some blue guck around it and has been sitting in a small puddle of water.

I turned the shut off valve for the gas and the breaker is off. Is there anything else I should do in the mean time?

For the leak, where could it be from? The chimney I'm guessing?

And for the connector that as drowned, so I need to call a professional?

Thank you
