medically recognized..?
Post Body

so, i feel like i am in a weird situation. i have a new trauma informed therapist and so far she has been all green flags.

she sets boundaries, condemns the bad behavior of previous therapists, etc... but, she is aware that i suspect i may have did / osdd (?). i have told her about it a little bit and she believes me (alongside with knowing a bit of my trauma history) and seems to have medically recognized me as a system.

i just worry that maybe this is moving all too fast and she is somehow being misled or similarly by me... we haven't had a lot of sessions together but she's mostly been gleaning my trauma history, symptoms, paperwork, etc...

so, i have been really struggling with knowing if i can or should trust her judgement on me being a system at this point.. or if i should wait longer before trusting her judgement ? she also isn't a dissociative specialist but is a trauma informed therapist !

was hoping to get some insight, advice, or support.. however that ends up working out ! tia
