Books - Looking for recommendations

Hi all,
Ruby here, the exhausted protector.
Basically our host has struggled with neglect a lot growing up, and is now basically neglecting us. I get the impression she fails to see the harm it does to us, and honestly, I feel she thinks some of us are less fully formed than is the truth.
Is there any books I can show her or read myself on how to make things run a bit more smoothly? She doesn’t seem to do this stuff to people who have their own bodies, though she use to, but she does it to us.
