is it possible to think i’m the host?

i have a good mix of male and female alters and recently i’ve been struggling with my gender and have been wanting to take steps towards transitioning. i usually think this is passive influence but is it possible that either my male alter is cofronting without me knowing or that i am my male alter and think i’m the usual host? idrk if that’s possible bc it doesn’t feel like it is but i just wanna make sure
