Yeah, one of the complaints of so many young redditors is that there aren't enough other young people at clubs like Colette. And the reason is pretty simple: a lot of younger people just can't afford the expense of clubs like this. It's a shame there aren't more BYOB venues similar to it (that play good dance music and allow sexy outfits and even nudity) that are more reasonably priced, but there just aren't.
We were with friends, so we had a good time, but Colette still really isn't our thing. No country music, no slow songs, only two line dances, the bass is so strong you can hardly hear the rest of the music, just a small dance floor, no tables, etc, etc. And Club Eden is slowly but surely becoming more and more like it. We'll end up spending most of our Saturday evenings at OTR or trying out other parties, once our platinum membership at Eden runs out. We all have to find our own space we enjoy, it seems.
