I have a room in a simple apartment with an amazing location. My roommate is moving out, but we have a private landlord that has kept our rent very affordable for years. Basically this place is nothing fancy, but for the money you get an insanely good location, you can avoid a large group house, and probably save $300 or more rent per month.

The apartment:

• Between courthouse & rosslyn metro (7min walk)
• lots of restaurants and bars nearby. About a 20min walk to clarendon nightlife
• also within 10min walk: safeway grocery store, target, UPS/USPS
• super close to georgetown & the national mall - I walk/run the lincoln memorial nearly daily (45min or so)
• Bedroom is roughly 12 x 10, the larger in the apartment
• 1 shared bathroom
• laundry is in building next door
• parking is zoned street parking, pretty easy
• Move-in: June 1st, though a little bit earlier would be fine.

About me: I'm a bit older (41), but am super laid back and get along with everyone.. I'm looking to buy a place soon, so would be looking for someone flexible enough to be willing to pickup a new roommate in the future. The landlord is super easy and you don't have to deal with big building issues.

Looking for someone clean & quiet for the most part. Ideally you work in a physical office at least a few days per week since I work from home 100% right now.

Rent: $975 each. Utilities average about $50-$60/mo depending on the season. (300Mbps fios, power, water)
