Post Body

Hey there Reddit, I was thinking about some of my favorite urban legends across the US and I started to wonder: has any DC comic ever established their own set of urban legends? I know it wouldn't work for every character, but I feel more street-tier characters (Batman, Green Arrow, Flash) could really experiment and have some fun world building if they heroes had to investigate the legitimacy of certain ghost tales.

If I recall, in The Batman animated show (not BTAS), Solomon Grundy was more of a legend to gotham than in other continuities. Are there any other notable examples, or is this untapped potential for street tier heroes to explore?
